The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.
SASSA will likely be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency claimed it really is alarmed regarding the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This really is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The provider position made for intervention activities a significant inflow of likely beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your office to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more methods to permit the servicing of all consumers and improve access to Social Assistance status sassa services,” the agency said.
